June 2, 2016

With the climax of the Heroes Summer Championship only a few weeks away, the current calm before the storm affords us an opportunity to look ahead to the Fall Championship, which is scheduled to get underway mere days after the Summer finals in Sweden.

Following months of competition involving hundreds of teams from around the world, the Fall Championship will culminate at BlizzCon, where 12 teams will compete for a prize pool of US$1,000,000. The 12 qualifying teams will again include the season’s winners and runners-up from China and Korea; two Regional event winners each from Europe and North America; and the winners from Australia/New Zealand, Latin America, South East Asia, and Taiwan.
